OVERVIEW & PURPOSE:
Rescue a Generation (RAG) is an organization designed to help students escape the traps of their own mindsets, circumstances, and environments. RAG is made up of several highly competent, passionate, and influential people who have the heart to see this generation succeed in every area of life. RAG has been in business for the past 6 years. The mission is to see cities transformed by providing coaching and empowerment to this generation. As Certified Life-Coaches, we aim to help students process their Social and Emotional needs by increasing their self-awareness, self-management, decision making, and relationship skills to help them succeed in school, relationships, and the like. Through transformational relationships and their authenticity, RAG is given access to the students’ hearts in a unique way. If you are looking to get students on the right path or want to see your students perform at a higher level, this organization has the tools that your students need.
SUMMARY & SEL:
Success Club will walk students through a SEL Life-Coaching process leading them to become successful in their educational journey and life. Our Program Goals are:
- To see chronic absenteeism decrease
- To see student behavior improve
- To improve the social-emotional awareness of students
- To provide group mentorship to students
FORMAT:
Combination of Motivational Video Curriculum, personal life coaching, and group discussions on the topics listed below.
OBJECTIVES:
- To decrease behavior incidents by enhancing the capability for responsible decision-making
- To assist in bridging the achievement and opportunity gap for disadvantaged, at-promise, and Foster and Homeless students
- To decrease chronic absenteeism on campuses
MEASUREABLE OUTCOMES:
- We measure Social and Emotional Learning using our pre-test and post-test data
- We measure attendance by collaborating with each school site
- We measure suspensions and referrals in partnership with each school
